It's necessary to send an account. The ammount depending from how many nights you want to book: for the week-end the 50% of the total ammount.
For whole week or longer periods the 30% of the total ammount.

If the guest cancel the reservation 15 days before starting the vacation will loose 50% of the deposit. A later reservation cancel mean loose the whole deposit.
